It started in 2025 as a bare position-size calculator and grew into a spreadsheet replacement — tracker, journal, the works. I built it for myself; it’s still how I size every trade.
Position calculator
Calculate position size from your entry, stop, and risk.
- Position size
- Your account size, risk percentage, and distance from entry to stop determine how many shares to trade.
- Allocation cap
- Set the maximum share of your account to put into one position. If this reduces your size, you’ll see the original count crossed out.
- Results
- See your position size, planned risk, and potential return at your target. Log a share trade to track it here.
- Long calls only
- Delta estimates the premium at your stop
- Not a live quote
Add symbols you’re watching to fill the calculator in one click.
Trade journal
Review your trades, track your results, and keep notes on what you learn.
- Performance
- Review results from closed trades, including P&L, win rate, and R-multiples.
- Equity curve
- Follow your cumulative realized P&L across all exits, including partial exits from positions still open.
- Trade notes
- Record your setup, updates, and lessons on any trade. Each note stays with the trade and includes a timestamp.
- Notes
- Reminders, market observations, and recaps that aren’t tied to a trade. Pin what you want to keep in front of you.
- Filters
- Search and dates change the trade list and the notes grid. Performance totals and the equity curve always show all-time results.

Compound calculator
Compare how different returns compound over ten years.
- Compare returns
- Choose your starting capital and an annual return to explore a ten-year projection.
- Deposits and withdrawals
- Add regular deposits or withdrawals to see how they affect the projection. Contributions are calculated as annual totals.
- Assumptions
- The projection uses the same return each year and excludes taxes, fees, and inflation.

Themes tracker
Find leading themes and explore the stocks within them.
- Browse themes
- Focused shows a curated selection; All shows every theme. Open a theme to explore its stocks.
- Compare performance
- Each theme’s return is the average return of stocks with at least 3% ADR and $100M in average daily dollar volume. Filters change which stocks you see, not the theme’s return.
- Refine the list
- Filter stocks by ADR, dollar volume, moving averages, or distance from their 52-week high. Gray tickers are below their 50-day SMA.
- Look up a company
- Search by ticker, company, or keyword to see what it does. Copy its description for a quick chart note, or jump here from a ticker in Calculator.
Mag 7 keeps all seven stocks visible regardless of filters.
Relative strength
See which themes have led after each close.
- Rank
- After each close, each theme’s mean (3% ADR and $100M ADV, same as Themes) minus the index return for that window. Stronger excess ranks higher.
- Index
- SPY is the default. Switch to QQQ for a Nasdaq-relative view. The period line shows which index is active.
- Color
- Green is the strongest rank that day among the themes on screen; red is the weakest. One cell per session.
- Open a theme
- Click a row to see its stocks on Themes. Focused and All use the same roster as Themes.
Until a close records SPY and QQQ in the history file, order is among themes by the same mean Themes uses.
